In the Phoenix area, Moon Valley High School is a public school serving 1,471 students in grades 9–12 as part of the Glendale Union High School District. Its test results are generally above district and state levels, though science is a relative weakness. The clearest positive for families is its graduation rate: 94.6% in 2024–25, above the district’s 87.4% and Arizona’s 80%.

Math is Moon Valley’s strongest tested subject compared with the state and district: 38% of students were proficient in 2025–26, versus 33% statewide and 32% districtwide. ELA was also higher, at 44% compared with 41% statewide and 40% districtwide. Among the three nearby district high schools with reported scores, Moon Valley was above their average in ELA and math.
