Pioneer Elementary School is a small PK–8 school in Gilbert, Arizona, with 310 students and several nearby schools for local comparison. Its 2025–26 results are above Arizona’s averages in both English Language Arts (ELA) and math, but the local picture is less strong. The clearest concern is sixth-grade math: 38% of Pioneer students were proficient, compared with 50% in the Gilbert Unified District and an average of 56% at five nearby district schools; Pioneer scored below every one of those schools.
