Open Quote I would not recommend this school if you have a child with special needs or a disability of any kind. Poor communication among Administration and Teachers, bullying is not dealt with appropriately, incidents that involve bullying are not reported to the parents and parents seem to be left out. Parents need to help their children get through situations and especially when a violent incident happened. Administration with not communicate even simple details about the incident. Privacy is important, I understand but when it comes to bullying the Florence District has a strict policy and Magma Ranch does not seem to follow it. Close Quote

Open Quote The administration needs to be cleaned out and replaced by staff that actually cares about keeping kids safe. Not only are their test scores horrible, the bullying is out of control and the staff does nothing to keep kids safe. Close Quote

Open Quote I go to this school and the food is terrible. it is fake and always raw. It is so disquesting. One time i found a gray worm on my starwberry and i wasnt allowed to get a new one. They made me sit and eat the rest. The teachers are rude and get payed very little. Our school watses their money on new computers rather than better food or paying the teachers more. The food isnt alwasy frree and this year they are charging us 2.50 for nasty, fake, smelly, and raw lunch. When they surve us cheesesticks they are always expired! Close Quote

Open Quote The staff in the front office need to be more welcoming, put a smile on their faces act like you like being at work, you are dealing with children. The school is dark and gloomy and feels like a sad place to be. student are eager to learn and you could see that, but as a parent and a teacher for my child I felt that the teachers should have had more control over the students when being asked to quiet down while an adult is talking.
