As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Pretty unhappy with my child's teacher this year. I don't think I have ever felt like any of the previous teachers were there solely for a paycheck, but this one, she seems to be very preoccupied with things that should be handled when you don't have 25 third graders asking you questions. My child's IEP teacher is even harder to deal with. I had been trying to schedule a meeting for three weeks to go over the latest testing. She never responded. Finally copied the principal on the email and I received a response back in an hour. Then we get in the meet and she proceeds to tell me they have a problem with my child in class and have for a while now. Lack of communication seems to be a theme here. Close Quote

Open Quote My family and I have been a part of this school since the day the doors opened. Imagine West Gilbert is a second home to us. Both of my children love it here. We have watched them grow and thrive. Their needs have always been put first by their teachers and all of the staff. Not only am I a parent, but I am a teacher here as well. I love coming to work each day. The staff and families, that make Imagine West Gilbert what it is, are second to none. Close Quote

Open Quote Imagine West Gilbert has been amazing for my children. They have a family atmosphere and the teachers really care about the kids!! I have 2 children that attend this school a 5th and 6th grader! I am also a teacher at Imagine West Gilbert and even though teachers always try to "talk" their school up I prove it. I not only LOVE my school because I work their but my kids attend!!! The administration cares deeply for the students and are highly involved in everyday activities. They are supportive and the students love them. I can't imagine my daughters attending any other school. Close Quote

Open Quote I feel Imagine West Gilbert encompasses all you desire for your child. They focus on strong academics, excellent character building, high expectations, love, care, and nurturing. This is my daughter's first year at Imagine West Gilbert and for once I feel she is being challenged academically. She now understands the meaning of working hard and putting forth effort in order to succeed. I love that her teacher expects the best from her and does not allow her to settle for less. Not only does her teacher expect the best from her, but she now owns her education and can tell you how she is performing academically as a student. On top of that, she participates in extra curricular activities which many other elementary schools do not offer. She loves to come to this school and that makes me happy and proud as a parent!!! Open Quote Very unhappy with the administration, this school no longer has the childrens best interest in mind. They are much more focused on popularity among teachers and will talk nice to the children when parents are around, but when you are not there it is a very negative enviroment. Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
