Summary:
Littleton Elementary District includes nine schools: eight conventional elementary schools serving prekindergarten through eighth grade and an online academy serving kindergarten through eighth grade. Across the eight schools with reported results, average proficiency is 27% in ELA and 17% in math, compared with state rates of 41% and 33%. No school reaches the state rate in either all-grades subject, and the shortfall is larger in math: 16 points, versus 14 points in ELA. The most important area-wide finding is that math is the bigger challenge, even at the district’s strongest-performing school.
Collier Elementary School leads in all-grades math at 30%, 15 points above the other reporting schools’ average, while Littleton Elementary School leads in ELA at 33%, 7 points above the others’ average. Both remain below state rates. Collier also stands out in sixth-grade math at 48%, compared with 30% statewide; Littleton’s seventh- and eighth-grade ELA rates are 45% and 47%, above state rates of 43% and 39%. Estrella Vista Elementary School matches state math results in third and seventh grade and exceeds the state in eighth grade, 33% to 30%. At the lower end, Fine Arts Academy has the lowest ELA rate at 19%, while Quentin Elementary School has the lowest math rate at 8%. Collier also leads reported fifth-grade science at 25%; Estrella Vista leads eighth-grade science at 27%, still below the state’s 30%.
SchoolDigger’s relative rankings show a strong recent rise for Collier: its statewide percentile went from 11 in 2023–24 to 40 in 2025–26, while Quentin and Tres Rios Elementary School each fell 17 points, to the 5th and 12th percentiles. Collier currently has two SchoolDigger stars; Fine Arts and Quentin have zero. Similar-sized schools can have quite different results: Country Place Elementary and Estrella Vista both outperform Quentin in all-grades ELA and math. Lakin Prep Academy also has reported results below state rates in both subjects. The online academy’s proficiency results are suppressed, and staffing and income measures are not provided.
