Summary:

Academy Del Sol Inc. has two K–8 schools: Academy Del Sol – Star Valley, with 558 students, and Academy Del Sol, with 171; together, they enroll 729 students. Their comparable all-grades ELA results are close, but both are well below the state: Academy Del Sol had 32% proficient and Star Valley 30%, compared with 41% statewide. The clearest area-wide takeaway is that each school’s gap with the state is much larger than the 2-point difference between the schools.

Academy Del Sol leads the schools in all-grades ELA by 2 points, though it remains 9 points below the state; Star Valley is 11 points below. Star Valley’s strongest grade-level result relative to the state was eighth-grade ELA: 38% proficient versus 39% statewide. Its clearest low point was third-grade math, at 15% versus 38% statewide, a 23-point gap. Star Valley’s all-grades math result was 19%, 14 points below the state’s 33%.

The larger school does not lead in ELA, and the available figures offer little basis for choosing between schools beyond these results: Star Valley has 387 more students, while the smaller school’s ELA proficiency is 2 points higher. SchoolDigger’s reported percentile ranks also fluctuated: Star Valley moved from the 35th percentile in 2023–24 to the 36th in 2024–25 and 25th in 2025–26; Academy Del Sol’s latest supplied rank was the 23rd percentile in 2022–23. A listed 2021–22 dropout rate for Academy Del Sol was 23%, compared with 6% for the district, while Star Valley’s 1% figure is from 2019–20. Results are available for only one year of ELA and math, some school and grade scores are suppressed, and free/reduced-lunch rates and student–teacher ratios are not provided, so these data do not establish score trends or explain differences between the schools.
