Summary

Timbercrest Middle School is a top-performing public school serving 665 students in grades 6-8 in Woodinville, WA, as part of the highly-regarded Northshore School District.

The school consistently ranks in the top 5% of all Washington middle schools, a position it has held steadily for nearly a decade, outperforming its district peers like Skyview Middle School and Canyon Park Middle School. Timbercrest excels particularly in math and science, and it achieves these excellent results with notable efficiency, spending less per student than some nearby schools with lower rankings, such as Hidden River Middle School.

Importantly, the school's success extends to all students; state rankings show exceptional performance for specific groups, including those in special education and from lower socioeconomic backgrounds. While a couple of schools in the neighboring Lake Washington School District, like Evergreen Middle School, rank slightly higher, Timbercrest stands as the clear leader within its own district and is a model of sustained, high-quality education.

Open Quote So grateful for our experience at Timbercrest. Our kids loved the school, adored their teachers, and made strong friendships. Counselors are very involved in their students' academics. Close Quote

Open Quote The teachers are rude, you're assigned nothing but busywork, and the staff treats you like children but expects you to be an adult. I moved to Woodinville about a year ago, and from the beginning, it was nothing but a waste of time. The only challenging thing about this school is the faculty. Overall an awful, dumpy little school. Close Quote
