Open Quote I graduated from Fowler years ago. I am amazed that I was able to overcome the substandard education and the lazy apathetic teachers !!! I had a history teacher who literally would spend 45 minutes reading to the students from a text book -and I mean page after page and line by line !!!! Is this quality ??? Does that stimulate critical thinking??? Its time to raise the bar WAY UP !!!
I was abscent all the time and adverse to this robotic and boring education. I SOMEHOW managed to graduate from Syracuse University thanks to the HEOP Program. I later made my escape to Boston and earned a Masters Degree in Public Administraion from Boston University. The key is to raise the standards and prepare and STRONGLY encourage students to leave Syracuse for a prosperous life out of state !!! You owe it to these kids !!
