Osborn Middle School's academic performance, as measured by proficiency rates in standardized tests, is significantly below the state averages across all grade levels and subject areas. For example, in the 2024-2025 school year, the school's proficiency rates in English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics were around 26-28% and 13-14%, respectively, compared to the state averages of 40-42% and 27%. Open Quote Osborn Middle is the ONLY school in greater Phoenix teaching Geometry during the school day. Geometry is a 10th grade class. Advanced math students can take Algebra in 7th or 8th grade, and receive 9th grade HS credit, they can then continue in Geometry in 8th grade. My kids can also continue the Spanish Dual Language and Ballet here. The music, band and choir are great too! Close Quote
