Open Quote Withdrew from the school the minute we could. Transferred from one school to this sorry excuse for a charter and was sorely disappointed. They were going to make my daughter retake classes (putting her a year behind) that she already took. Didn't get into most of the classes she wanted- which was the whole reason we applied. Substitutes were filling in for 4 teachers and nobody knew what they were doing. Administration will make you wait for hours just to talk for 5 mins. Administration is snippy and unfriendly. Every class had a fee and students have to provide practically everything and the teachers blamed it on a low budget. The only teachers that were any good were the musical theatre and ballet ones. I do not recommend this school to ANYONE. If you want to be angry 99% of the time, pay fees at any chance they can get, and learn absolutely nothing then this is the school for you. Close Quote

Open Quote I have noticed that this past year has been extra stressful on both my children. I have walked in the hallways (I am a parent helper) and hear yelling from teachers, witnessing young children being dragged out of their classrooms crying and being told to sit outside the door. I have witnessed silent lunches, I am beginning to think that this is not a healthy or productive environment for my children, and am seriously considering pulling them before the new quarter starts. What was once a nice school seems militaristic, with the principal now begging for money, sending out pleading letters.. what for? YOur class size is so misrepresented in all your ads, its not 19, 20, or even 21.. its over 30.. kids are crammed into smelly rooms, the upkeep inside is pitiful. The gossip that goes on here is so unprofessional. I have noticed a lot of thinks I just do not like anymore here.. Close Quote

Open Quote I have sat back and listened to my friends bash their child's teachers. We need to take a look at the PARENTS of this school.. many have the "THEIR KID CAN DO NOT WRONG" Syndrome. And what is horrid, is they way that they treat teachers. They go over the teacher's heads, right to administration, they constantly are rude and nasty to the teachers, and guess what.. YOUR CHILD does NOT turn in the work, lies to teachers, Lies to YOU, and in all reality.. Parents,, who is being hurt by your actions? YOUR CHILD.. they see how you bully, they see that they can do anything they want because they also threaten,, "wait until my dad talks to the principal.. I won't have to sit here, do this work, stay on Fridays (even though I did not do the work..), etc.. Parents. put on your big kid panties.. stop fueling the fires, and have your kid take responsibility for his actions.. THEN LOOK IN THE MIRROR and take responsibility for YOUR OWN! Parents.. YOU get a FAILING grade for attitude. support, and for thinking your are THE BOMB>> Close Quote
