Open Quote This school is has been the worst decision we have ever made. The new principal and vice principal are the reason why this school is so bad. The principal refuses to do her job. The principal refuses to help students achieve their goals. She refuses to speak with parents. She throws temper tantrums and is very rude to students and parents. This school is a great idea it just needs to get rid of the principal and the vice principal. I am contacting the school board about the principal. I am highly disappointed with our experience at this school. Close Quote

Open Quote The principle will say one thing to your parents and then she will yell at you for asking a question. Both the principle and the Vice principle are very rude. The teachers either move really or really slow. The history teachers give you a lot of useless busy work. You never learn a thing. I feel like they are trying to dumb me down. They teach to the lowest performing student in the class. The math teacher belittles you and the English teacher will bad mouth you to your parents and accuse you of cheating when you get good grades even if it is you average. And don't even get me started on the science teacher if you ask questions he yells at you, he refuses to actually teach you but they won't fire him because he has been there for 10 years. STEAR CLEAR OF THIS PLACE! I am graduating a year early just to get out of that wretched place! Close Quote

Open Quote The teachers are childish. English teacher talks about her life during class instead of teaching. Math teacher, Kyhn, belittles students. Other English teacher texts during class. Teachers act like high school girls. Administration lies, does not keep promises, has unprofesional behavior, so do teachers, principal will stand you up for parent meeting. Level of study will not prepare your child for class. Teachers bad mouth students and parents to other students. English teacher , Ackerman, will degrad students during the class. This is not the only charter school that pays for college. Teachers and administration changes rules as they go during the year. Close Quote

Open Quote This school has offered my daughter the option of taking college classes while she was in high school. Over the last four years she has earned 45 college credits that will transfer with her to Stanford University, where she is going on a full academic scholarship. The principal works with each student and monitors the small, but exceptional campus very well. This is not an alternative school, but a place to send your student if you are looking for a good education that will push your kids. No matter how your student does, they will help them, my son struggles and they tutor him every day to get him through. As a parent I cannot recommend a school more. Close Quote
