Mountaineer Montessori School

This is an exceptional school. Over 30 years of tradition here by professional educators experienced and certified Montessori instructors makes the difference. We considered the other schools and day care but frankly this Mountaineer Montessori School is so much better, there is no choice. Professionally run (not by a church or too involved parents seeking control) by great directors this school fit the needs of our child. The after school program really works for my spouse and I as we both work. The price is reasonable and there is so much our child is exposed to in math, literature, arts and the sciences it truly is a joy when they are in school there. As a parent, I love not having to deal with homework and yet my child is far above the levels of others in other private schools not to mention the overcrowded public schools here.

This school was the perfect fit for both of my children for different reasons. One is very self motivated, academic,artistic, and socially strong. The other has a learning disability, is creative, sensitive, and challenging. They both loved their experience here. They talk about it frequently. They both have adjusted well to the next school. They love learning and respect others.
