Man Senior High School is a small, rural high school in Man, WV, serving 321 students in grades 9-12 as part of the Logan County Schools district.

The most striking thing about Man Senior High is the disconnect between its academic performance and its graduation rate. While the school ranks at the very bottom of the state academically (105 out of 105 high schools), its graduation rate is a standout 96.3% for 2024-2025—well above the state average of 92.8%. This pattern has held for three straight years, suggesting the school is very effective at keeping students on track to earn a diploma, even though standardized test scores are critically low. In 2025-2026, only 7.5% of 11th graders were proficient in math, 26.3% in English, and 6.3% in science—all dramatically below state averages.
