Marion High has climbed steadily over the past decade. In 2025–2026 it ranked 256th of 533 Wisconsin high schools (52nd percentile, 3 stars) — its best showing in the available history, and a major jump from the 2nd percentile in 2015–2016. That places it second among nearby high schools, behind Iola-Scandinavia High (195/533, 63rd percentile, 3 stars) and ahead of Gresham High (266/533), Little Wolf High (300/533), Clintonville High (334/533), Shawano High (390/533) and Bowler High (466/533). The high school's rating is much stronger than its district's overall rating of 334th of 432 (23rd percentile, 1 star). Completion is a clear strength: the 2024–2025 graduation rate was 97.1% versus the state's 92.0%, and the dropout rate was 0.9% versus 1.1%.
