Kaukauna High

Kaukauna High is a 9–12 comprehensive high school serving 1,210 students in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, and it is the only high school in the Kaukauna Area School District. In 2025–26 it ranked 129th of 533 ranked Wisconsin high schools — the 76th percentile, or 4 stars — its strongest showing in the decade on record and a clear rebound from its 34th-percentile pandemic-era low in 2020–21. Because it is the district's only high school, its results essentially are the district's results at the secondary level.

Among the area's large comprehensive high schools, Kaukauna ranks second statewide, ahead of both North High and East High in Appleton and behind Kimberly High. Math is the standout subject: 55.48% of 10th graders were proficient, roughly 12 points above the state, with social studies similarly strong at 60.59%. Graduation is 95.8% (state: 92.0%), the dropout rate is 0.5% (state: 1.1%), and chronic absenteeism dropped to 13.9% from 18.7% the year before, below the state's 17.3%.

Kaukauna spends $13,708 per student and has a student–teacher ratio of 16.1 — less money and larger classes than several neighbors, yet stronger results. About 21.7% of students qualify for free or reduced-price lunch, more than at Kimberly or Wrightstown High. Special education students climbed from the 41st to the 78th percentile statewide, and low-income students rose from the 35th to the 58th. English language arts, at about two points above the state, is the softest core subject, and English language learners rank at the 37th percentile — the clearest remaining gap.
