Hayward Intermediate is a public elementary school in Hayward, Wisconsin, serving 327 students in grades 3–5 as part of the Hayward Community School District. For 2025–2026 it ranks 449th of 1,039 Wisconsin schools — the 57th percentile, with 3 stars — which is stronger than the district's own 42nd percentile, 2-star rating, making it a relative bright spot locally.

Math is the school's clearest strength: in 2025–2026 every tested grade scored above the state average, including 65% proficiency in 3rd grade math versus 54.75% statewide, 54.46% in 4th grade math versus 52.87%, and 61.21% in 5th grade math versus 51.81%. English Language Arts was above state in 3rd and 4th grades (58% and 57.43%), but 5th grade ELA fell below state at 50.86% versus 53.63%.
