Summary

Amherst Elementary is a PK–4 school serving 342 students in Amherst, Wisconsin, a small community in the Tomorrow River School District in the central part of the state. In 2025-26 the school ranked 401st out of 1,039 Wisconsin elementary schools — the 61st percentile, with 3 stars — placing it above the state median but below its own recent highs of 86th percentile (4 stars) in 2024-25 and 75th percentile in 2023-24. Over the past decade the trend is clearly upward: in 2016-17 the school sat at the 42nd percentile with 2 stars.
