New Richmond Hillside Elementary is the district's most improved school, rising from 2 stars and a 47th percentile rank in 2023–2024 to 3 stars and 65th percentile in 2025–2026, though its 4th- and 5th-grade scores trail district averages and it has the highest free/reduced lunch rate at 35.09%. New Richmond Paperjack Elementary retains 4 stars but its rank percentile slipped from 86% to 72%, despite having the highest per-student spending at $15,848 and low absenteeism of 10.1%. Overall, spending does not track simply with results — the middle school has the lowest per-student spending in the district but some of the strongest outcomes.
