Waupun, Wisconsin has three public schools in the Waupun School District, serving about 1,741 students across an unusual grade split: Meadow View Primary covers PK–1, Rock River Intermediate covers grades 2–6, and Waupun Area Junior/Senior High School covers grades 7–12, so there is no standalone middle school. The high school is the largest, with 832 students (about 47.8% of enrollment), followed by Rock River at 585 and Meadow View at 324. Meadow View has no current test data because it serves PK–1, but it has the highest free/reduced lunch rate (46.6%) and student-teacher ratio (16.1). Per-student spending is nearly identical across all three schools ($14,453–$14,545), so funding differences do not explain the varied outcomes.
