Random Lake, Wisconsin has three public schools — one elementary, one middle, and one high school — all belonging to the Random Lake School District and all located at 605 Random Lake Rd, together serving 648 students in grades PK through 12. Random Lake Elementary is the largest with 292 students in grades PK–5, followed by Random Lake High with 212 students in grades 9–12 and Random Lake Middle with 144 in grades 6–8. The district is rated 373 of 432, the 14th percentile with 1 star, and none of the three schools currently ranks in the top half of Wisconsin schools.

Its rank dropped from the 74th percentile with 4 stars to the 40th percentile with 2 stars. Random Lake Middle declined from the 64th to the 42nd to the 28th percentile, with weak 2025–26 Grade 8 results in mathematics (33.93% vs. 53.67%), social studies (46.43% vs. 64.63%), and science (35.71% vs. 51.86%), even as Grade 7 mathematics (62.79%) and ELA (55.81%) exceeded state. Random Lake Elementary slipped to the 26th percentile, with Grade 4 mathematics a bright spot at 60.00% but Grade 5 ELA and mathematics both at 30.77%, far below state.
