Open Quote This is our 2nd year attending heritage Christian and has been a disaster. The communication between families and administration has been horrible. One teacher has suggested ear plugs due to her not controlling the class. Their 504 plan is a joke don’t expect them to follow it (you will be required to pay for it as well). The head of school expected me to reach out to her teachers instead of them following the weekly contact which is part of her 504 plan. They switched teachers for another child without talking to their parent.... I really could go on & on and have the emails to prove what I’m saying. There was one day that was so bad when I got emailed information I almost pulled my daughter out immediately (the trauma they caused instead of calling me was horrendous) I have had the principal include me in on emails where he said thx so & so I know this is an inconvenience... their classrooms in middle school are so crowded that the kids cannot even use their backpacks and are carrying things from building to building. And yet they are attempting to expand and create a high school hmmmm If you have attended this school since preschool it feels like a family but otherwise prepare to be an outsider.. it feels very jr high ish. Open Quote My family has attended HCA for over 11 years now and find the learning environment to be exceptional. The teachers and staff each make a personal investment into not only the educational aspect of your child's development, but also their spiritual and emotional growth. Academically the classes test 3-4 years ahead of their peers and characteristically the children are also clearly set apart from many of their peers as a result of the faith-based education they receive Close Quote

Open Quote I have taught at HCA for many years and fully support its mission, vision, and partnership with the families that are here! The staff is a family in itself, and we pass that warmth and caring onto the parents and children we are privileged to serve. We strive to identify each child's individual learning style and support them academically, socially, and spiritually with the resources we have. Our small class sizes allow for students to receive the attention they need to succeed. HCA has a legacy and a unique quality you will be hard pressed to find elsewhere. Close Quote

Open Quote Heritage has offered our family a wonderful educational experience. My children have grown thru preschool, elementary and now junior high. All programs in this school are well run and the teachers are excellent. My children are thriving in the wonderful atmosphere that promotes growth in their faith, and excellence in academics. The smaller school atmosphere allows the staff and teachers to really know my children and care for them. It has a family feel and I enjoy all the programs that bring families together. Sure, it doesn't have a large sports program, but my children can find that outside of school in recreational sports. What Heritage can offer is a fantastic library, chess club, school trips and much more. They even offer extended care if you need childcare before or after school. The extended care teacher is great and always has a fun craft for the children. Close Quote
