Impact Public Schools is a small public elementary school in Tacoma serving 232 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Located in a relatively high-need area, the school reports a 65.95% free- or reduced-price lunch rate and a favorable 13.6:1 student-teacher ratio. It is part of the Impact | Commencement Bay Elementary district/entity, which ranks at the 29th percentile statewide. Impact’s 2025–26 statewide school ranking was at the 33rd percentile, but its results are stronger than those of most nearby elementary schools.

In 2025–26, Impact’s proficiency rates were 43.65% in English language arts, 33.07% in math, and 50.00% in science. Unqualified “teachers” in charge of students. Even many “lead teachers” do not have any experience teaching or have actual credentials. Most staff are on emergency credentials. Special education students not getting their services. Employees have to sign NDAs upon hire. What do they need to hide? Close Quote
