Open Quote Great school. Strong academics in a nurturing environment. Emphasis on development of reasoning skills and community involvement. Approximately 80% of the students participate in sports. My son is excited to attend school almost everyday. Very involved and inclusive parent and teacher community. Very happy to be part of the Wolfhound family. Close Quote

Open Quote Our child attended St Pats for 3rd grade. I feel that we were sold a false bill of goods. My son feels he was not challenged whatsover and has made the statement that he basically sacrified 3rd grade. He attended Norfolk Academy for 1st and 2nd grades and we decided to try St Pats for various reasons while being assured by staff the level of education would be comparable and challenge the student individually. We have since moved to Williamsburg and my son is happier than ever- and in a public school! I would try and persuade anyone I know from sending their child to St Pats. Wasted money and wasted an important year. The school is great, however, if you are looking for a safe place to have someone watch and care for your child all day. Close Quote

Open Quote Great Christian environment! Excellent academics, with teachers who take the time to develop individual programs, homework, and after school activities that will ensure the proper development of your child. Our daughter has been attending the school for three years and we have enjoyed watching her progress and the friends she has made. The sports programs are top notch. We love Mr. Hammond the PR. and couldn't imagine being at any other school even though Larchmont Elementary is right down the street. We also have heard wonderful things about Larchmont (and it's free!) Close Quote

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
