High Point Elementary is a PK–5 school in Bristol, VA, serving 582 students in Washington County Public Schools, one of Virginia's top-rated divisions. The school has a notable history—ranked 17th in Virginia as recently as 2016–17—but has declined steadily over four years, falling from 81st (2022–23) to 398th (2025–26) in statewide elementary rankings. It has gone from a 5-star to a 3-star school, even while its district remains a 5-star district.
