Open Quote I rarely leave negative reviews, but after our family's experience, I feel other parents deserve to hear our perspective.

We enrolled our children expecting a school that would partner with families, communicate openly, and support students through challenges. Instead, we experienced repeated behavioral incidents involving our son that left us feeling like the focus was on punishment rather than understanding what was driving the behavior.

One of my biggest concerns was the school's response. Rather than demonstrating accountability and a collaborative approach, I often felt concerns about classroom management and staff interactions were minimized. When I asked questions and sought additional context surrounding incidents, I frequently left without the clarity I was hoping for.

As a parent, I believe teachers should model patience, professionalism, and respect—especially when working with young children who are struggling. My confidence in the school's leadership declined because I did not feel concerns about staff conduct and communication were addressed with the seriousness they deserved.

Children need clear expectations and accountability, but so do the adults responsible for teaching and caring for them. Strong leadership means ensuring staff receive appropriate coaching, support, and accountability when concerns are raised. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.

Every child deserves to feel safe, respected, and understood at school. Every parent deserves transparent communication and confidence that concerns will be investigated thoroughly and fairly. Sadly, we no longer felt we had either, which is why we chose to leave.

I hope the administration takes a hard look at how concerns from families are handled and invests in strengthening communication, staff development, and accountability. Those changes would benefit every student and family who walks through their doors. Close Quote
