Open Quote I love the teachers at Northridge. They are very experienced and really love the kids. The specialty classes, science, computers, music and art are phenomenal. You could not ask for better extra curricular activities. The choir is the best in Utah (Don Harvie is a master teacher and musician), the orchestra amazing, award winning ballroom teams, and an art club and show that is like a high school. The parents at this school could not be any better to work with and the type of kids here reflects great parenting. Running club has been a great addition over the last few years and kids are feeling the benefits. This school has the reputation at the junior high of, "Oh you're from Northridge-you'll do great here." My 6th grade learned how to design a website in computers, we have a school website for all kinds of educational computer games for all levels you can access at home. In music they really learn music, and in art the techniques in drawing, pottery (we have kiln) and painting are taught in a fun way. All learners thrive from the advanced to the child who may struggle. Our Stars Reading program has 40 volunteers from this great community that help twice a week. Our annual 3k bring the whole neighborhood together as does our school carnival and many, many other great activities planned by our dedicated PTA and SCC. This school is why we bought our house here. Close Quote
