As a certified academic therapist, I went to Kipling to tutor two students and was appalled by the most chaotic, disorganized atmosphere, and observing the students not receiving even a minimal education for 6th grade made my heart hurt. When I brought up some questions to the administrators all I ever heard was lectures about how their school was phenomenal, and I could barely get a word in. During my observations of the teachers, I also have never witnessed such a lack of passion and commitment to their students. Since I tutored previously at Kipling for a short time, I am currently working with two students who used to attend and the large learning gaps, and evidence of not being taught even the most basic middle school skills in reading, writing, and on level material has left them incredibly behind. I work with specialists, educational consultants, educational psychologists and teachers and all say "run" when the Kipling school is even mentioned. Close Quote
