Open Quote Divine Savior Academy is not what it used to be. The school has adopted more of a “Miami-HQ” mentality, prioritizing revenue over the well-being of students and parents. It has become a very money-driven institution, as evidenced by the significant tuition increases. When my kids started kindergarten, the tuition was $7,000 now, just six years later, it has more than doubled to over $13,000. What’s worse is the lack of transparency in these increases. Parents are often told there won’t be any significant changes, only to be blindsided by substantial hikes. When questioned, the administration avoids addressing concerns, leaving parents frustrated and unheard.

To double tuition in such a short time without showing meaningful improvements in the school’s offerings is unacceptable. Many parents are also dissatisfied with the curriculum and the quality of teaching staff. Instead of investing in experienced, qualified educators, the school seems to hire unprepared, inexperienced graduates who lack both the skills and the aptitude to work effectively with children.

The school needs to refocus its priorities, address parental concerns, and commit to hiring better-qualified teachers if it wants to regain the trust and respect of its community. Parents deserve to be heard, and these issues cannot continue to be ignored. Close Quote
