Open Quote This school has been a wonderful experience for our family. Our child began in the Toddler Montessori Program at 18 months, and we were impressed from day one. Mrs. Vanessa, a certified Montessori guide with years of experience, creates a warm, nurturing environment full of thoughtful crafts and hands-on activities that support early learning and development.

We continued with the Montessori PK3-4 program, where our child learned to read and write before turning five. Ms. Basia, the lead teacher, is also a trained and experienced Montessori guide who truly understands how to meet each child’s needs. Class sizes are mid-sized, which allows for lots of individual attention and meaningful teacher-student relationships.

The school is small, with just over 100 students, and it really feels like a close-knit family. It’s located on Mt. Carmel in a quiet, nature-filled setting with a huge playground where children can explore and play freely. From 1st through 8th grade, the school follows a Classical curriculum that offers strong academics and a rich faith-based foundation.

Spiritual formation is a core part of the school’s identity. There is daily Mass for 1st grade and up, and twice-weekly Mass for Pre-K and K. Kids learn to build a strong Catholic faith through catechesis, prayer, and even helping lead Mass with music and song. Each quarter, older students lead the school in practicing a new virtue, creating a meaningful sense of community and character building.

The leadership is another standout. Mr. Castro, the principal, is a thoughtful and hands-on leader who is always accessible and responsive. Communication from the school is clear and timely, and the staff is kind, caring, and fully invested in the children’s well-being.

The school also has a year-round farm with sheep, chickens, and turkeys. Starting in 1st grade, students participate in weekly Agricultural Studies classes where they care for animals, work with crops, and connect with nature. There’s also a beekeeping club for 4th grade and up.

Extracurriculars are plentiful—chess, LEGO, ballet, karate, theater, beekeeping, and more—plus a strong afterschool program.

We highly recommend this school for families seeking an excellent Montessori start and a well-rounded, faith-filled education. Close Quote

Open Quote Our child is thriving at MSMCS - the classical education and focus on both spiritual and academic growth are unique in Dallas. This is a very diverse community with families and staff that are warm and welcoming. The principal is very engaged and dedicated to the success of the school and students. Many of the teachers have over 20 years of experience. Our entire family has grown through our involvement with MSMCS. I would recommend to any families that value a classic Catholic education in a diverse community. Close Quote
