St Pius X Catholic School

Very poor leadership. The school is declining every year with the quality of staff, and academics. There needs to be changes and until then, students will continue withdrawing because St. Pius is on a downhill decline.

Sending our children to St. Pius X Catholic School has been the best investment we ever made. With all three now graduated, I believe the foundation was laid down here for them to succeed not only with their professions, but their relationships with people they encounter each day. Not only do I have fond memories of their memorable projects, ceremonies - both religious and non-religious, but they, too, will recall some of the great times they had at the school, as well. What more can you ask for?

This school really is like a family. Parental involvement is required, but it is truly what makes up the community feel of the school. I was hesitant to take my children out of public school and make the financial sacrifice it takes to send themm to private, but after a few years, I've realized it was the best decision I have ever made. The class sizes are small,and teachers really emphasize each child's individual strengths. Communication with the school and my children's teachers has always been very good--any time I have had an issue, an e-mail or phone call has been returned promptly, and with great compassion. The student body is very diverse, which is one of the great strengths of this school over other Private Schools in Dallas.
