After doing countless hours of research on this website and others, I bought my home based strictly on the best schools for my child (elementary, feeder schools, etc.). After our first year in the "best" school (West Plano area), I realized that I failed to consider my child's personal needs in education. Children of single parents receive "gaps" whether educational or other, and as a result I learned inductively that, while putting a child in an environment where there are 20+ students to one teacher may not work work well for some. To expect a teacher to "teach" to the needs of individuals considering all of the children's family issues that like it or not, get carried into the classroom. Ignoring these facts are only hurting the child.

While initially not impressed with the "drive up" appearance (not a multi-million dollar McMansion school), the benefits have been countless for my child. The small student to teacher ratio, the genuine kindness and humbleness of the staff, the joy that the students possess (not just mine, but even the high school students, you see happy kids) or even the tough, critical thinking curriculum that produces high school graduates earning college scholarships (I've read the acceptance letters on their wall!) I am certain that this school and what God has done for us through this school and it's staff is by far the best educational path for our family. If you are looking for a school that teaches God's grace and absolutely "walks the walk" with those words, you owe it to yourself and your child to visit this place. It will change your life!
