Bannockburn Christian Academy

Prior to choosing Bannockburn Christian Academy 2 years ago, we visited many schools and saw the differences in the facilities, offerings and community. This school while small offered the best of what we wanted for our son, including the fact that it is accredited, offered a great education, Bible based teaching, character development, technology in the classroom, great extracurricular opportunities and allowed us to be involved in the school via volunteer opportunities. Because of the small class size they offer a differentiated learning approach which gave me the security that whether my son was more advanced, or needed extra help in a subject or even were more advanced he or she would be served well. Many of the Christian Private Schools in my area made it clear to parents when given tours that if a child needed extra help they weren't suited to that. While I wasn't necessarily one of those parents, it did make it clear that a child needed to be on pace at all times. We also love how they work on character development daily. At the end of our time at Bannockburn Christian Academy, I know our son will leave with a great education and also be well on the way to understanding that the most important part of who we are and why we do our best always is about our character. For those who like or desire community for themselves and their child, this school excels in that area. We stay after school to hang out with our friends and regularly attend coffee's at the school or help via volunteering - whether its in the classroom, the STEM lab, the garden or the lunchroom or for any of the special events such as Fall Festival, the Christmas Program or Field Day, etc...
