Summary

Louine Noble Elementary in Liberty Hill, TX, is a mid-sized school serving 740 students in grades PK through 5 as part of the highly-rated Liberty Hill Independent School District (Isd), and it has earned a consistent 4-star rating from SchoolDigger over the past four years.

This school truly shines in early reading, with 69.23% of 3rd graders proficient—well above the state average of 51.08% and even outpacing nearby Liberty Hill Elementary (66.67%) and Bill Burden Elementary (51.11%). It also excels with specific student groups, earning a 5-star rating for both African American students (93rd percentile) and Gifted and Talented students (93rd percentile). A standout story is the dramatic improvement for Special Education students, who jumped from a 2-star to a 4-star rating in just two years. However, a notable weakness is a "math gap" in upper grades: only 45.86% of 5th graders were proficient in math, which is below the district average (52.32%) and even the state average (47.38%). This contrasts with the school's strong reading scores and suggests a need for targeted support in math.

While Louine Noble is a strong school, it is not the top performer in its district. Bar W Elementary, just over 5 miles away, achieves higher test scores across the board, such as 70.89% proficiency in 5th-grade math compared to Louine Noble's 45.86%. Interestingly, Louine Noble consistently outperforms its closest neighbor, Liberty Hill Elementary, despite serving a very similar student population. The school's overall ranking has been on a positive trajectory, climbing from the 74th to the 81st percentile, though a slight dip in some recent scores suggests continued monitoring is wise. With a favorable student-teacher ratio of 14.3:1 and a solid reputation, Louine Noble offers a well-rounded education with clear strengths in reading and targeted support for diverse learners.

Open Quote This school does a great job with the children. The administrators run a tight ship but I can allow that for the safety of all. My children have graduated from this district and they still talk about the events and teachers at this school. I think that says alot about how the people impacted their lives. Close Quote
