As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote I have been involved with Whitley Road for 11 years. Like all parents I have had some issues but every issue I have ever had has been handled quickly and professionally. Parents are encouraged to get involved and they have an open door policy. The staff don't see the kids as students, to them they are their kids. The all go above and beyond to make sure the kids develop a love for learning. The school has a lot of after school activities and events. The PTA tries to host a variety of events and the teachers always help with the events. Even if those events are in the evening and require the teachers to give up time with their own family. One down side is the parent involvement could be better. This is not a reflection of the school but of the parents. We have a lot of working families that can't be involved as much as others, Even without the parent involvement the school still has several events and after school activities fort the kids. About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
