Open Quote I can only speak for my experience with the third grade teachers. I would not recommend the third grade here unless you like no parent communication, never knowing when tests are or what is being studied in class. After I complained about the lack of communication, the teachers began emailing me their lesson plans for the week. I also spoke with the principal who said parents have not complained about communication so there was no need to change anything. So if parents are okay with no communication he doesn't feel the need to create some form of communication about what is happening in the classroom. I have heard good things about other teachers there, so maybe this is just this one set of teachers. However, at the elementary level you would think there would be some type of parent newsletter, online teacher blog or some form of communication to let parents know how to help their children at home. About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
