Open Quote We moved our son to Bright Academy from another IB school when it converted in 2018-2019 school year. The education is individualized for the student. The teacher culture is positive, upbeat and compassionate. You can really tell the teachers are experts in education and IB, empathetic and really care about each child. My son's scores went up 10-15 points putting him in the top 90's to 100. I was also provided a lot of detail around his levels and how he was doing through the year. There are no surprises which I appreciate. The school is also quick to respond and address questions, concerns or to provide generally clarity on anything. I love Bright Academy and Mrs. Dodon's team. I am so sad that he will be moving to Middle School. The info here isn't totally accurate. I would recommend visiting the school and seeing for yourself. About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
