Open Quote This school has a problem. In the middle of the school year I was asked to attend a meeting at the school. When I arrived I was walked to a room with a few people sitting down, the principal, the counselor, the interventionist, my child's teachers and one other person. Basically, they called the meeting to pressure me to put my child in Special Education and to put him on ADHD medication. Since this was the first I had heard about the need to do such a thing, I refused. When The principal saw that I would not agree to her terms she told me to do something or she would take matters into her own hands. I not sure what that meant, but that's how things ended. About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
