The school's statewide ranking has slipped notably in recent years, falling from the 49th percentile with a 2-star rating in 2023-2024 to the 21st percentile with a 1-star rating in 2025-2026, placing it 314th out of 400 Tennessee high schools.

Even as its ranking has declined, STEM Prep's graduation rate remains a clear bright spot.
