Three Oaks' clearest academic strengths are science and social studies. In 2025–2026, the school posted a 55.1% proficiency rate in science and 62.5% in social studies — both well above state averages of 46.9% and 51.4%, respectively. The school also substantially outperforms nearby Dyersburg Middle School in both subjects.
