The school has earned a 4-star rating for six consecutive years, though its state ranking has fluctuated within that tier, reaching the 86th percentile in 2024–25 before slipping to the 73rd percentile in 2025–26. That still places it above the statewide median, but below nearby Scotts Hill High School (86th percentile) and Lexington High School (85th percentile), both in Henderson County.
