Best Public Schools in Martin, TN

The city of Martin, Tennessee, is served by four public schools in Weakley County Schools, covering grades PK through 12 with about 1,880 students. Westview High School serves grades 9–12, Martin Middle School serves grades 6–8, Martin Elementary School serves grades 3–5, and Martin Primary School serves grades PK–2. The district itself is strong, ranked in the top 13% of Tennessee districts, and all local schools enjoy much better attendance than the state average.

Martin Elementary is the academic standout in English Language Arts, with 57.7% of students proficient in 2025–2026, well above both the district and state, and a big one-year improvement of 6.4 points.
