Summary:
Warner School District 06-5 serves 313 students across three schools, from kindergarten through grade 12: Warner Elementary (K–5), Warner Middle (grades 6–8), and Warner High (grades 9–12). Attendance and completion measures are also strong: elementary chronic absenteeism is 1%, middle is 0%, and high school graduation is 100%, compared with 20% absenteeism and an 88% graduation rate statewide. The most important overall finding is that all three schools are above their corresponding state benchmarks in every subject reported for their latest results.
Warner Elementary stands out most in the latest Smarter Balanced results: its all-grades ELA and math rates are 93% and 96%, respectively, 44 and 52 percentage points above state rates. Warner Middle has lower all-grades rates than Elementary—79% in ELA and 69% in math—but both remain well above state rates, by 30 and 25 points. Sixth grade is the clearest area of unevenness within Middle: ELA and math are both 59%, compared with 87% and 70% in grade 7 and 88% and 76% in grade 8. Warner High is also above state rates on its latest ACT results, by 25 points in ELA, 36 in math, and 29 in science; its results are from a different test and grade cohort, so these figures are not directly comparable with the other schools’ results.
Elementary and Middle both improved in ELA and math from 2024–2025 to 2025–2026: Elementary rose 6 points in ELA and 4 in math, while Middle rose 3 and 1 points. Both also widened their margins over the state. SchoolDigger gives all three schools five stars; its statewide rankings are High 1st of 130, Elementary 2nd of 203, and Middle 3rd of 151. For context, 2024–2025 student-teacher ratios range from 10.9 at High to 17.1 at Middle, while the free/reduced lunch eligible measure that year is 5% at Elementary, 10% at Middle, and 9% at High. These context measures do not establish what drives school results.
