As you review the school rankings data, please be aware that some of the information from certain demographics is missing. The reason for this omission is that the data has been redacted from the source data itself due to low population samples in these specific demographic groups.

Redacting data from low population samples is a necessary step to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the results, as small sample sizes may not be representative of the broader population. Additionally, this measure helps protect the privacy of individuals belonging to these demographic groups.

Open Quote Worst school ever as my kids go through it. they never send out their test scores & keep it like classified or need to know stuff. even their PSAT scores which my daughters never received. and their LEXILE Score which i been trying in touch with the teachers and administrators but no luck as i already moved out from the school but they are so lazzy do not won't to transfer stuff even i have given them permission to do so. this is the fifth time i am going to email the school but still no response. so tired of it i only wish the school closed down that would be great now. Open Quote This is our 5th year at this school. The only reason we haven't left is out of fear that the public school will be worse and then we won't be able to get back our spot. Very disorganized, lack of communication, office will not return emails, teachers rely on parents to donate literally everything( printer ink, lamps, landscaping.) Close Quote

Open Quote As a middle school we think HCA can be the best in the county! It's gone through some changes the last couple years, but Mrs. Morris has worked real hard for it to expand and become more organized. Our son's 6th grade year last year was his best year yet! Close Quote

Open Quote This is the worse school I have ever dealt with. The principal is rude, haughty, and insensitive to the needs of the children. Some of teachers are fantastic, but their hands are tied due to this school's administrator. I would never recommend this school to anyone if they want their child to be successful in a school where the faculty genuinely cares about their well-being, achievements, and works with the parents. My advice is tto stay away from this place. It is a nightmare! Close Quote

About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
