Metropolitan Career Technical Center is a Providence high school serving 817 students in grades 9–12. Its results show a sharp contrast: 97% of students graduated in 2024–25, well above the state rate of 86%, while test results were below state levels in every reported subject and grade in 2025–26. The clearest academic concern is mathematics: fewer than 5% of 10th graders were proficient on PSAT10 math, compared with 29.3% statewide.

Graduation is a standout strength locally, too: the school’s 97% rate was fourth-highest among nearby schools with data and less than 1 point above the MET Career and Technical district rate.
