Charlestown Playhouse Inc.

My family has been part of Charlestown Playhouse for 4 years now. I can't imagine not being a part of this amazing community of children, parents, and teachers. One of my favorite things about Playschool (as it is commonly known)is that because it is a cooperative school, one of the requirements is that a parent has to help one morning a week in a classroom. This means that any given moment, you can find 4 adults helping in a classroom. It also means that as a parent, you get to be a part of the experience that your child is getting. I have learned so much in my time at Playschool, and I am certain that I will continue learning as my younger son will be starting next year!

The teacher/student ratio in this play based preschool is unmatched, usually sitting at a 3 or 4:1 ratio. The community is tight due to the cooperative nature of the school, so parents know other parents and children well. My three children had nothing but wonderful, positive experiences there!
