Ten years ago my family chose Abington Friends School Kindergarten for the nurturing environment, strong values based education and passionate educators. As our children have moved through each division at AFS we have looked at other area private schools and each time our confidence in our choice is reaffirmed. AFS is truly nonpareil. It provides academic rigor in a collaborative environment that produces strong students and independent thinkers. Close Quote

Abington Friends School is the perfect balance of academic rigor and a nurturing environment. The teachers and students have strong relationships that makes AFS a safe place to grow and learn. Challenging oneself academically is expected and respected. My children have grown into mature critical thinkers, joyful learners, and advocates for themselves and those around them. The leadership skills combined with a strong sense of social justice allows them to effectively manage the diverse and complex world in which we live. If you haven't seen AFS is action, it is well worth a visit! Close Quote

School at one time was one of the elites, But in the recent years, Bad hiring,People in the wrong positions and bad decisions by management has this school on a path it will take years to recover from and they haven't changed course yet, So, It is going to be a quite a few years. Close Quote
