Open Quote Test scores alone do not define a high quality school. Central High School is a highly effective school that combines a quality staff with 21st century learning tools. Over 75% of the students from this school matriculate to college and/or post-secondary technical training schools. The school has a loyal and highly successful base of alumni who support the community and school. Achievement outcomes for the school, as demonstrated by the rigorous AYP standards of the state department of education, are consistently improving and are at historically high levels. This is a school that also strives to raise the level of all learners and has been recognized for innovative programming to foster inclusion of all students with learning disabilities.
