Open Quote I went to this high school for one year. then i attended riggold high school if i had to compair these two schools and say witch was better i would pick brasheer by far. I learned more in this school then anywere i stayed in school because i went here the teachers give u respect and they help u when u need it. I never seen any drugs in here or anything like that all i seen was cigarettes no biggie. And i learned how to fight i will always know how to protect my self. Now this is why i disagree with these rateings. brasheer 1 star??? no way.... Now u have ringgold on the other hand that has 3 stars and let me tell u what i got into there. I seen with my own eyes a kid do cocaine in class he had to be taken away in an ambulance also seen atleast 20 other kids overdose in this school. not an exatgeration at all the teachers dont respect u at all and they dont give to good craps one were u end up they kicked me out because i failed a pssa test. i asked for help but never got it. im in ged classes because i had a teacher email me from brasheer yelling at me because ringgold said that i dropped out. And who put me in ged classes???? not ringgold a careing teacher from brasheer who didnt have to care but did anyway. There are sooooo many more things i could say about how much better brasheer was than ringgold and y ringgold got the higher rateing i will never know. Not to mention all the wanna be gang members in ringgold that walk around with bags of weed in there pockets up and down the halls so u tell me what school is better i had 0 fines in brasheer and 9 in ringgold and never threw a punch. well thank u for reading hope u take my advice and send ur kid to the right school. About Students eligible for discounted/free lunch:

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) provides low-cost or free meals to students in U.S. public and nonprofit private schools based on household income. Those with incomes below 130% of the poverty line receive free lunch, while those between 130% and 185% qualify for reduced-price lunch. The percentage of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch serves as a marker for poverty, as it reflects the socioeconomic status of families in a given school or district. A higher FRPL rate typically indicates a higher concentration of low-income families, suggesting that the school or district may face additional challenges in providing adequate resources and support for student success.

About Student-Teacher Ratio

Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
