Open Quote Conwell is a really good dchool. They have a wonderful music program and is truly filed with diamonds in the rough. There are some disciplinary problems brought on by neighboring schools but i feel the school handles it very nicely.Given the area, there's not much Conwell can be blamed for.The school respects children's backgrounds and hopes to better them by graduation.I felt I was in a very comfortable and safe enviroment, you're not just a number there, and thats important. The teachers have time for the students and are open to students willing to approach them respecvtfully. At conwell I got alot of new experiences.New learning methods, new people, new cultures and I loved it.It opened many doors for me and helped me see the good in people and broke any stereotypes i had againnst the kensington area and people. Our graduation was lovely(2008). About Student-Teacher Ratio
Student/teacher ratio is calculated by dividing the total number of students by the total number of full-time equivalent teachers. Please note that a smaller student/teacher ratio does not necessarily translate to smaller class size. In some instances, schools hire teachers part time, and some teachers are hired for specialized instruction with very small class sizes. These and other factors contribute to the student/teacher ratio. Note: For private schools, Student/teacher ratio may not include Pre-Kindergarten.
