While the school's unique cyber charter model provides online and virtual education, its academic performance has faced significant challenges, particularly in mathematics proficiency.

Insight PA Cyber Charter School consistently underperforms the state average in both math and English language arts proficiency across all grade levels on the PSSA and Keystone Exams. For example, in 2024-2025, the school's math proficiency rate for all grades is projected to be 5.4%, compared to the state average of 41.7%. The school's performance is particularly low in math, with proficiency rates ranging from 1.3% to 11.6% across different grade levels, significantly below the state averages. In English language arts, the school's proficiency rates are also lower than the state, ranging from 13.6% to 31.4% for different grade levels. Additionally, the school's four-year graduation rate of 87.9% for the 2023-2024 school year is slightly lower than the state average, and its dropout rate has fluctuated in recent years, ranging from 1.4% to 3.2%, which is generally higher than the state average.

Interestingly, nearby charter schools, such as Avon Grove Charter School, Agora Cyber Charter School, Pennsylvania Virtual Charter School, Renaissance Academy Charter School, and Pennsylvania Leadership Charter School, generally outperform Insight PA Cyber Charter School in academic proficiency, graduation rates, and other key metrics. However, when compared to the nearby traditional public school, Coatesville Intermediate High School, Insight PA Cyber Charter School performs better in academic proficiency, with higher rates in both math and English language arts.

Open Quote it’s an okay school, it’s not the best and it could use some work on its system and the way things are set up, because when i attended this school early this year, i seen that a lot of teachers didn’t know how to properly use the set up, class connects, work distributer, things of this sort. it’s not too hard to make friends here though, the students are mostly nice except some and the teachers for the most part are friendly except 2 that i’ve had. (9th grade) sending your child to this virtual school isn’t the worst option but do know that it’s not always simple here because you get a lot of work and you spend a lot of time doing it. not a good school for people with jobs for sure since they require you to be on for the whole day. watching class connects until 3:00, doing work after your class connects which usually takes about 3-4 hours if you’re lucky.
